What does it mean to JOURNEY TOGETHER?
One of our values at FreeChurch is that we gather together in our faith and share this experience of Christ together. We believe that God has called us to be a diverse spiritual family and that we grow in faith and character by resisting urban isolation and fragmentation, actively engaging in loving relationships of encouragement, hospitality, generosity and forgiveness.
This past Sunday, Jon Osmond explored this value of Journeying Together in his next instalment of the TRUE NORTH sermon series. If you missed the message this week, be sure to catch up through our Mixcloud Podcast.
Our True North series continued this past Sunday as Jon Osmond let us through the value of being a FAITHFUL PRESENCE in our communities, in our city, and in this world.
What does it mean to be an image bearer? Jon Osmond dove into this subject this past Sunday as part of our True North series. If you missed this week’s sermon, be sure to listen to the link from our Mixcloud account.
Calling All ARTISTS!
If you work in the field of the arts or consider yourself an artist, come out on Sunday, OCT 16 for the first meeting of the Artist Collective. Similar to our CGs that strengthen community within our neighbourhoods, this group is hopes to foster community within our area of vocation/passion.
We’ll be meeting after the Kensington Expression at St Stephen-in-the-Fields (103 Bellevue) at 6:30pm.
Looking forward to meeting with you all this Sunday evening!
This Thanksgiving weekend marked the first sermon offered to us by our new intern, Jordan Duerrstein. Jordan preached on Luke 17:11-19 on the Ten Lepers Cleansed with a message of healing, salvation, and loving thy neighbour.
